There are changes coming to our direct services programs which will enable ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ (THT) to refocus on its foundational core of advocacy and grantmaking to maximize our impact in the community.Ìý

  • In the coming months, our direct service programs will transition to other organizations. Be assured, there are no immediate changes, and we will continue to update you as more information becomes available to ensure a comfortable transition for everyone involved.

  • As THT shifts toward advocacy and grantmaking, the services our volunteers have been part of will continue under the stewardship of other trusted agencies. We encourage you to remain engaged and involved with these programs as they are moved to new homes.

  • Are there any immediate actions we need to take in light of these changes?
    No immediate actions are required from our valued volunteers. We’ll keep you informed and provide guidance as necessary.
  • What if I want to continue volunteering?
    Volunteer opportunities at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ will end on or before June 30, but we are in active discussions with Loaves & Fishes about operating Food and Nutrition Services, including the Jerry Larson Food Basket and Meals on Wheels. They will likely need many volunteers. We will share more details as they become available.
  • Will there be any interruption in services during this transition?
    We are working diligently with funders and identified partners to minimize impact on clients. We are committed to ensuring a seamless transition and maintaining the continuity and quality of services.
  • Will there be changes in our points of contact within ´ºÓêÖ±²¥?
    We’ll communicate any changes in points of contact directly to ensure you have the support and information you need.
  • How will ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ ensure the continuity and quality of services?
    Through careful planning and collaboration with agencies taking over services, we’re dedicated to maintaining high standards of service quality.
  • What is the rationale behind ending certain services?
    The rationale is to transition direct services to other agencies who can do the work well, enabling ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ to focus on grantmaking and policy advocacy.
  • How will this impact our existing agreements and collaborations?
    We anticipate minimal impact and will work closely with you to ensure any transitions are smooth and transparent.
  • Will there be new services or changes to existing ones that we should anticipate?
    We’ll keep all volunteers updated as our strategic focus evolves.
